Resources

The African American Public Humanities Initiative provides resources and support to humanities and social science PhD students at the University of Delaware who are interested in exploring diverse career trajectories, supporting both non-academic and academic career pathways.  The African American Public Humanites Iniative helps graduate students prepare for the reality of the 21st century job market.

Representatives of the University's community gathered to address racially-charged tensions surrounding the discovery of and reaction to three "noose-like" items hanging from a tree on The Green. The discovery came less than 24 hours after students representing the "Black Lives Matter" movement protested a controversial speaker brought to campus by another student organization.
